Thursday, Feb 26th Good evening from West Point, Me, Phippsburg. Becuase the computer I am using old, the connection dial-up, but I am still here. Planned on uploading some pics tonight but techincal difficulties prevailed. Tomorrow evening.

Wednesday, Feb 25thGet ready, there are going to be some big things happening over the next couple of months. The basic, once again improved Triggs Huntington should be all operational within a week or so. I hope to get some Triggle.net up and running by middle of March, along with building Triggle.net, I will be working hard to learn PHP, mySQL and eventually Flash so as to become a professional incorporating design, dynamic web and live animation all synthesised together.

Keep in Touch, John.

"The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek."

- Joseph Campbell

2/9/04 No updates over the weekend becuase I was trying to ski at Sugarloaf, unsuccsessfully being as the mountain was closed due to high winds yesterday. This week Triggs Huntington's emphasis will be on creating my money making site. Hope to have it satisfactoriy running by Friday, but I had hoped to have it up and running by Feb 1st so we will see. Peace and love...

"If you're never scared or embarrassed or hurt, it means you never take any chances."

Julia Sorel

2/5/04 Go after what you want. Most of the time we become influenced by others and act according to the way we want to be perceived by the world, our peers, family, friends. You are perceived based on your actions. Make them your own!

"Praise is one the world's most effective teaching and leadership tools. Criticism and blame, even if deserved, are counter productive unless all other approaches have failed."

2/4/04 When does one go out on a limb? When does one make a difference? Whenver one does, they do, until then there is no limb, there is no difference to make. We make up our minds, consciously or subconsciously, thinking what we want, remembering what we choose. Life present opportunities because it is how we view that opportunity as being just that. Creating a positive and optimistic mindset is a must to living a rewarding and awesome life...

Character is higher than intellect... A great soul will be strong to live, as well as to think.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

2/3/04 - Good morning from 903 Ocean Avenue. Writing from my wireless internet notebook. Bonnie lies beside me, Lilly patrolling the room sniffing in vain for everything and anything. Sverre on the opposite sofa doing a bit of reading. Today I hope to launch NOVAV, the culmination of my initial efforts to make moola on the world wide web, lets see how it goes. Have a superior day today...

A wretched soul, bruised with adversity,
We bid be quiet when we hear it cry;
But were we burdened with like weight of pain,
As much or more we should ourselves complain.
William Shakespeare

2/1/04 Superbowl Sunday, cleaning up, organizing photos, reminiscing, basically chillin, Went skiing at the loaf yesterday in balmy sub zero temps, rock on..

1/29/04 Hello hello....Welcome to Triggs Log if you are a first timer, if not, that much more awesome. Always searching for the right direction to take life, this site, my message. Being honest and personal is what I always seem to return to as the key. Personal and honest, about what, well, that is impossible to say at this point. I believe the middle will justify the end hence reinforcing the early success. Success? What does it mean to you?

1/28/04 My usual quote for each entry will resume soon, so many things I am trying to get together. Need to slow down, take a breather and gain perspective. Ideas and plans that start of so great can quickly become jumbled and *ucked very quickly if you do not keep your wits about you and take it step by step by step. Maine is going great, not sure where my life will be taking me, what happens will happen...

1/27/04- Back on track...What is on track? Have I ever fallen off track? How many times will I fall off track. Have ever fallen off track. How does one know the right track if they don't follow the wrong track. How we perceive and think is a result of our environment and our evolutionary nature. Is it worth thinking? What will the human species 100,000 generations out think about, strive for...Will there be a human being 100,000 years out. Having either been Destroyed of evolveded into a more advance societal species. Who knows...Who Cares---I do sometimes..

"Thought in themind hate made us
What we are by though was wrothg and built.
If a man's mind hat evit thought,
pain comes on him as comes the wheel the ox behind.
If one endure in purity of though,
Joy follows him as his own shadow - sure."

James Allen

1/21/03 - Greeting in the new year folks, having been so nice and prompt with recent updates, I apologize, always working towards something greater, more pleasing, awesomer. Triggs Huntington is undergoing a major cosmetic job and will be up and ready to go, hopefully in the next few weeks, until then, carry forth all your optimism and leave behind your negativity.

The greatest source of unhappiness comes from inside.

12-31-03 - 2004 is right around the evening, less than 15 hours left in 2003, live it up, rock and roll, spread your happiness, smell the roses,

"The trick to knowing is to know nothing at the same time and realize it."
Scot Herrigel

12/29/03- Well look at that, a quote by my bro, pretty sexy I say. Life is Maine is great, no complaints. I wish all a happy new year and a healty life. Chirstmas in New Jersey was nice as usual. Hightlight for me was watching Sea Biscuit with the fam and Gordon. Winter days is set to be awesome, an't wait. A couple more days of work and then I am finished for 2 months, traveling, entrepreneuring and chillin will be the menu of choice for John. hope all are well.

" Each indecision brings its own delays and days are lost lamenting over lost days.....What you can do or think you can do, begin it. For boldness has Magic, Power, and Genius in it." Goethe

12/19/03 Life is running quite smoothly right now. A lot is happening and I am beginning to build a future that I can and will be proud of. Head back to Jersey this Monday, can't wait. Need to do some shopping, need to stop eating massive amounts at 1 in the morning, need to meet people, want to live life to its fullest potention for my given role on this earth.

Today's images of opiate-addled junkies, and the lever-pressing frenzies of intra-cranially self-stimulating rats, are deceptive. Such stereotypes stigmatise, and falsely discredit, the only remedy for the world's horrors and everyday discontents that is biologically realistic. For it is misleading to contrast social and intellectual development with perpetual happiness. There need be no such trade-off. States of "dopamine-overdrive" can actually enhance exploratory and goal-directed activity. Hyper-dopaminergic states can also increase the range and diversity of actions an organism finds rewarding. So our descendants may live in a civilisation of well-motivated "high-achievers", animated by gradients of bliss. Their productivity may far eclipse our own.

12/11/03 Hi all, so much to do, so much time :). XOXO

12/9/03 Following the herd is a sure way to mediocrity. To be successful I believe you need to be consistent, intelligent and a bit looney. You need to listen to others but continually remind yourself to listen to what you think.

He that is of the opinion money will do everything may well be suspected of doing everything for money.
Benjamin Franklin

12/7/03 The year begins to wind down, another day another dollar, what direction to take for the coming year. Listen to yourself, your friends, family, associates? A combination of them all. Do something others will doubt at first, the only way for success, difficult though. Well, we are in the midst of quite a storm up here in Maine, cold, snowy and breezy, glad to have clothing, shelter and food. Peace....

12/2/03 Hi all, Sverre, Bonnie Lilly and Myself here. Finally quited down around 903 ocean avenue. Had our first dusting of snow last night, quite a nice surprise to wake up to. Feels like winter. Looking forward to the next 3 weeks of peace and quite, routine and productivity. Enjoy the little things as best you can.

11/30/03 Yo Yo Yo, Gordo, 3 friends, and my snowblower just arrived here to complement Bryn, Mariah, and myself, Sverre, Bonnie and Lilly are here then not here, so quite a crowd. Enjoy your last day of November.

11/27/03 Happy Thanksgiving. Bryn and Mariah will make great wives, cooked a great meal and now we are going to watch a movie. How about that for profound thoughts....

"I hope to be the kind of person my dog thinks I am"

11/25/03 Well, hello once again, hope all like the new web site format. Bryn arrives tomorrow and Mariah may well indeed be coming down this way tonight. One learns and does many obscure things each and every day. We are inundated with new information always and it is a wonder how we manage to input, compute, file, react, respond, think about all of it without ever being conscious of doing just this.

"Man's mind once stretched by a new idea never regains its original dimensions."
Oliver Wendall Holmes

11/8/03 1233 Hi all, tons of good things happening in life right now, house is good, dogs are good, sverre is good, job is good, family is good, sunny here, but going to get cold tonight, see how well this house is insulated. Well, hope all are well, peace out....

11/6/03 2118 Isn't that interesting, still the same day, we are so influenced by routine it is unbelievable. Is routine and our daily activities really what we want to do or is it what we want to do because of the way society dictates we do, but yet we have so many opportunities and we can do whatever we want to do, yet use society/our routines/life as the reason we cant do things. People complain way too much. Winter is coming, cycle of life, ever repeating, take action and prove the things you think about. later gators...

11/6/03 903 0117 ...can't believe I forgot Maggie, Mom you are my most favorite person to be around all the time xoxo. Hmm? Who else may read this, ultimately anybody Dad, Bryn, Friends, Foes, Average Joes. Isn't it funny how I am writing at 1 in the morning from portland, me yet whenever, whoever reads this will have been fast asleep during its creation. What to write, torn between becoming too personal and honest in this journal, why?? Because of the way others react. Ultimately it is my decision, but the thoughts of what others will think weights heavily. connections/interaction/communication so,

"Hello, is there anybody out there" Dire Straits

11/5/0 903 Ocean 1232 Yes. It is all relative though and based on how you perceive, input, compute, behave, think, . People are out there and that is what keeps us together and makes us the human race, the only and greatest being ever. It is our most basic, yet most evolutionanry sophisticated trait, our desire for connection with other humans, but really including living beings, dogs are the greatest. Bandit, Bonnie, Lilly, Bandit, Flakes, Max, & Shortstop have tought be many things. NOt sure how much they learned or better should I say retained, but their love was as great and greater than whatever you wanted to give. Trully mans & womens, or shall I say Humans best friend. Wow...

11/4/03 903 Ocean 1300 Whats up folks? Been busy lately and apologies for lack of daily journal entries. Today or tomorrow I begin my foray into the artist world, will be an adventure and journey for sure. Had nice dinner last night with Simon, Mary Grace, Sverre and myself, watched Lord of the Rings and Pat's game. Back to Cape Arundel today, things are going well. Rainy and miserable out, but cozy and semi-clean inside headquarters. Lilly finally got her cast off making it a much more enjoyable environment for all to say the least. Planning winter days most likely to occur after the new years. Thanksgiving dinner for the Herrigel's will be at 903 Ocean this year for the first time, all our welcome. Big vote today on the casino issue, we will see what transpires. Bought a microcassete recorder today, something I should have done 5 years ago, get all though important, philosophical, spur of the moment feelings/emotions out, peace out...

10/29/03 903 Ocean 1130 Rainy once again. Back from a wild, fun, awesome weekend at UVA, so many good friends, so many good times over the years. Anyways, back to Maine, back to normal life. Well, got lots of shicocky to do today so peace out.

10/21/03 903 Ocean 1108 Rainy morning here in P-town. Lilly wimpering in the background, only a week or so until the cast comes off, how nice that will be. Getting pretty excited to go down to UVA this thursday. Working on my home equity loan so I can buy lots and lots of things :). Stop what your doing... Look around.... focus on what grabs your attention and trust your instincts,

10/20/03 903 Ocean 1200 Great sunny fall day here in Portland. House is clean, dogs are good, getting excited to head back down to UVA this weekend. Hope all are well. Beware when the great God lets loose a thinker on this planet. Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803 - 1882)

10/19/03 903 Ocean 0100 Well, lots to say, so much too do. Work is as good as I could have hoped it could be. Environment :) is spectacular, people are superior and I feel I can learn and add so much. Sverre's B-day was today, 25, He is now a member of the one quarter century club. Bonnie, Lilly and myself chillin, SNL in background, feeling so rich, wealthy, fortunate to have the house I can finally call home for the first time since my childhood family house. Now I have 2 homes. Life is good, I pray it will continue to be good and that it will improve on its own, through ever growing/changing friendships, and through finding a loving companion. Glad to be writting and glad to be here. Signing off.....

9/30/03 Migis 1953 - Tradition and Routine are great, but so is change. Why do we meet some changes so harshly, both our own personal and societatal, yet welcome others. What about Tradition? Without it and repatition, there would be no need for a memory, no need for emotions and remembering, interesting points / pure folly? You be the judge. No, I am the judge. Can God be the judge? Is there a judge?

"Oops :)"
9/27/03 1545 Headquarters- Well now, hope this reading finds most in god spirits. Motivation!!! Where does it come from, how can you obtain it? Sometimes it is there, sometimes it is not, Why? Chemicals in the brain vs 6th sense, a combination of the two the most plausible answer. Lates....

Imagination is more important than knowledge... Albert Einstein
9/26/03 2237 My Home Well now...it is really nice to be able to say that. Watching What about Bob and just enjoying being here, wishing for a companion, but ultimately making it a great time for myself, knowing that the best companion for me will come by and by. TGIF, enjoy it, this and many more will come by and by. Bill Murray is awesome, always be concious of what you say and do to the best of your own ability. Had a really nice time yesterday at my grandparents 60th anniversery, really impresive definitely makes you feel young again :).

9/23/03 2148 Headquarters - So true is the quote of the moment. Accomplishment carries high value in our society, we push, pull, work towards accomplishing things. This is because accomplishing means contributing which means being part of the whole cycle of life, plus feeling really good about it as you go. Signing off --

9/21/03 1100 Migis Crisp new day, out with the old in with the new. Feeling quite healthy and good today, see I have lots of things in front of me. The moment takes care of itself as time goes by. I tend to spend abnormal amounts of time planning, worrying, debating past and future moments. Go with the flow, let bygones be bygones and take life as it comes, however you act & react is just that. One can't change it, one can't always plan it, so just try and enjoy it.

" The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are."
Joseph Campbell
9/20/03 0754 Migis Plans change, in my case a lot. Looks like I will be spending my Saturday at Migis Lodge and finishing the day bartending. Good and bad, money is good, limited time to do my own things is bad. Accepting who you are, being honest with whom you actually are both to yourself and to others is not always easy. SO few people are 100% happy with themselves which makes no sense becuase you self is who you are so what is he benefit of not being 100% happy with yourself. It does give you a reason to continually change though, hmmmm. Well, it is raining and dreary up here today, make it a great productive day.

Words of Wisdom:When you are doing something and it just doesn't feel quite right (6th sense). STOP, and ask yourself... Are you doing what is right for you? Lates, off to bartend. oh yah.

"How you act is who you become"

9/17/03 1430 Migis - Well, original plans thwarted by Migis Lodge forces. No surfing for me today, check out the awesome wave though at Big Beach Life is but one big act, if we become who we are through acting then ultimately each act we perform creates a new self. Seemingly insignificant actions yield giant consequences and seeminingly important decisions become forgotten all too easily given the amount of time spent contemplating and acting.

9/16/03Stormy, somewhat dismal day up here in Maine, how come the weather affects our mood. Lilly had surgery today, Bonnie and I have been lounge potatoes this afternoon. Hope things are good or the best they can be with you all, lates..

9/15/03 Good day to you all. Mid-September. Look back, are you proud of what you have accomplished so far this month. Are you working towards you goals. Are you happy with where you are? IF not, change. Life is now, life was yesterday, life will be tomorrow. Good day to you all.

9/14/03 - Well well well. Seems like I had a bit too much partying last night, but I am here at work, so is anybody worse off for it besides my body. Not really I think. Got down to the beach around 4 and things could not have been more perfect. Triston's turn tables were set up with huge speakers blasting, drinks and food were plentiful and the sun, sky and atmosphere were awesome. Go Pats!!! " There is real magic in enthusiasm. It spells the difference between mediocrity and accomplishment."

9/12/03 - What did we do before cars, electricity, telephones, T.V's, etc... Not a whole heck of a lot except for eating, drinking and being merry, not so bad.. "Honor isn't about making the right choices. It's about dealing with the consequences."
Midori Koto

9/11/03 - Spent the night in West Point, so awesome to get out on the ocean. Thanks parents for being enablers :) and creating a great location to spend time. Honor and consequences. Taking responsibility for actions. Each action ultimately has consequences, both immediate and long term. Part of the mystery of living is figuring out the proper actions to take to yield the most desireable consequences, yet proper is in the eye of the beholder just as being the best is self-driven. What you view as the best will not be what others view as the best in many situations, remember this....

"Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen."

9/10/03 - Happy Birthday Scot(bro/wanks>. Now you can drive although I will believe it when I see the license :). At Migis, crisp, clear morning. Chilling before I go bring some ice, make fires & sweep porches, oooh, I can hardly wait. Things are going well, lots of things to do, figure out, accomplish. I hope all have a good day today and see you later alligator.

9/9/03 - Another very nice day here in Maine. Putting the finishing touches on the gardens ,updating and organizing, getting ready to head back to Migis for the night. Life is good, I wonder what I will be doing a week from now, a month from now, a year from now, 10 years from now, does god know, do I know deep down? I know I will need to start making some $$$ in a couple of weeks, but until then I will enjoy doing things I enjoy and investigate possible directions to take. lates....

"No Quote...What@!$?"

9/7/03 - Finishing off the day, worked, weeded, ate pizza with Sverre and Becky, all in all a good day. Really really happy that Sverre and I are living together, and look forward to the future wherever it may bring me. Thats all folks. Good night.

9/5/03 - Man oh man, frustration factor was running high, but finally got the network working, wireless access at 903 Ocean is now available. Just chillin with Sverre, Bonnie and Lilly in front of the TV. Weather is overcast and 70's. Summer is over that is for sure, having a mini BBQ here tonight, later gators.

9/3/03well well well, look at this 2 days in a row, hard to belive I know it. Been working diligently on www.DigitalPictureAlbums.com Gettting ready for another night in the bar, (Migis bartending), not going to the bar :). Life is pretty good, just trucking along and seeing what happens. Hope all are well,

9/2/03 - Fall approaches, Summer fades... The cycle of life continues. Good past couple of days at headquarters, nice dinner last night, Sverre, Becky and John. Lilly had quite an adventure yesterday, got out, got hit, came back 8 hours later, holly shnikies!!!. New pictures added. (Click Here)

New Beginnings....
8/28/03 - Attachment according to Buddhism is the root of suffering. Good lesson for today being as I seem to have lost all my past journal entries, difficult to accept but what happens happens, maybe for a reason, maybe just because, either way here we go again. Triggs Huntington is back in business for the time being, 903Ocean.com has been born and photoalbumtransfers.com will soon be born. thats it for now, later
